Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide school-based services at an elementary school in Bear, Delaware. This full-time contract role involves working onsite with a split caseload serving both traditional and autism classrooms. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Delaware SLP license is required
- Experience working as a school-based SLP strongly preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language therapy in educational settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload including students with autism
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a school team
Location:
- Elementary school located in Bear, Delaware
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students, both in traditional and autism programs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation per school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and provide progress reports as needed
- Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing and school district regulations
